Femi has been involved in the work of PRIME as a Tutor since 2012. He is a Senior PRIME Tutor and International Member of the International Strategy Group with a particular role in the development of PRIME’s work in Nigeria. His interest areas include medical education, adolescent health, care of the elderly and quality health care.
He is a Consultant Family Physician at
the University College Hospital in Nigeria and is currently one of the
consultants in charge of the First Geriatric Centre, University College
Hospital in Nigeria. He is a Fellow of the West African College of Physician
(Family Medicine), an Associate Member of the Royal College of Obstetricians
and Gynaecologist, and a member of the Nigerian Institute of Management.
Femi is involved in teaching medical students at the College of Medicine, University of Ibadan and the training of postgraduate doctors as well as being an Examiner of the West African College of Physician, involved in examining and supervising candidates at membership and fellowship level.
He was Lead Consultant for United States Agency for International Development (USAID) on Malaria Action Programme for States and he has published and reviewed publications for the University of Ibadan/University College Hospital Ethics and Institutional Review Board.
