Jane ArnottPRIME Profile - Jane Arnott

Jane is a qualified nurse, health visitor and worked for a period of time as a qualified Midwife. She has over 15 years of experience as a University Lecturer within the School of Health and Social Care, developing and delivering academic programmes for Specialist Community Public Health Nurses (Health Visitors and School Nurses). Jane has a passion for public health and successfully completed an MSc in Health Promotion and Health Education, which allowed her to develop a deeper understanding of the role of public health both nationally and internationally.

 In 2009, Jane became a Training Programme Director for the East Kent GP Training Scheme and has been involved in developing teaching activities that focus on inter-professional learning. She is also an accredited coach and enjoys seeing others develop through the process of coaching.

Her Christian faith is very central to everything she does and is looking forward to working as a PRIME trustee, drawing on her teaching experience and clinical expertise to support the development of future educational programmes.
