PRIME Profile - Lesley Dawson

Lesley DawsonMCSP, Dip TP, DHSM, MSc, PhD

Lesley is a qualified Physiotherapist. She was a Principal Lecturer at the School of Health Professions, University of Brighton until retirement. Lesley has been an External Examiner for several British universities including Southampton University and Queen Margaret (Edinburgh), Bradford, Leeds and Sheffield Hallam and has been involved in healthcare programme evaluation in Afghanistan, Nepal and various countries in Eastern Europe.  Currently she is Field Advisor for Action around Bethlehem Children with Disability (ABCD).

She is a Retired Member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP) and is involved in the ADAPT Professional Network (Chartered Physiotherapists in Global Health).

Lesley has a particular interest in Israel and Palestine, having worked for many years at Bethlehem University and for a short while in the Gaza Strip. 

She joined our Executive Team as our Allied Health Professional Representative in 2023 and has been involved in planning our Global Conference.
