PRIME is involved in partnership with another international organisation in annual conferences for English-language medical students from around 70 countries and 15 medical schools. The political situation has at times led to the disruption or delay of some events.

PRIME teams have delivered palliative care training for hospice, nursing and medical personnel and have been developing relationships with some partners in Ternopil and Odessa. Several teams of healthcare and other professionals have come to the UK to find out more about palliative care. They attended courses at various hospices and the National Council for Palliative Care (NCPC, the national umbrella body for palliative care in England and Wales). We have a number of options for palliative care visits to Ukraine and will need to decide how best to use our resources.
